Hey guys have a quick question for you, ive been hanging around this site for awhile now and theres so much you can learn here and i love it, but recently i have come across the psx.exe file and from what i can understand this file contains the information of where everything is kept and other general information for debug games, my question is, is there anyway to turn a pre existing PSX.EXE file into something more editable/Readable.

Yes, it's called disassembling, and it will spit out MIPS machine code (assembler).
"IDA Pro" can do PS-EXE's, but I find a tool one of my friends made called 'PREF' works much better
