Building my development machine.

Hey folks.

This is my first step into the world of PS1 game development. I grew up on the PS1 and always wished to make games for it. Like most people I loved the horror genre.

I'm building a development machine. I've got a 7502 with parallel port and serial port. I'm using a cheat cartridge that I've flashed unirom to. I've also removed the serial port and replaced it with some pin headers. I don't have a link cable so this should suffice to give me a terminal.

The pin headers were a bad idea. The pins were too high and making it difficult to open and close the lid. I removed the pin header and replaced with some wires directly.

My brother asked me to help him build a wooden deck out back, but we were short on a few proper cutting tools. I didn’t feel like going to different stores so I just went online and saw someone recommend a link to click here for power tools. The site had what we needed, including extras like blades and kits. Ordered everything in one go, saved time, and the stuff actually turned out to be decent quality for the price.
