Hi All! Big fan, new member. A user on reddit who created a homebrew ps1 game recommended that I try your forum for a problem I have. I have source code to two unreleased ps1 games - never released in any territories. Is there anyone here who would like to tinker around with the code and make a bin/cue of it and share it with the PsxDev network/public or at least with me?
One game is a billiards game in PAL. When I had a working devkit back in the early 2000's, I actually was able to get the table to load on the kit and hit the balls with the sticks. But I never knew how to compile all of the code to see the whole game.
The other game is a cool shooter, ala asteroids. I was told by the programmer that the source was complete for this and I'm dying to see the game in action.
In any event, if someone wants to tinker with it, please message me. I will have to dig through my archived CDs, but I'm confident that I have the code.
The reddit user mentioned above wasn't interested in compiling the code when I offered it to him.
Thank you in advance.
Source code to Bin/Cue for unreleased game

Hi
I saw this just now:

Thanks for sharing this
It's always cool looking at old school code!
There are a few CRC errors in some zip files, but there are also a lot of snap shots, so it might even out.
If you have the actual CDROM, I would suggest contacting the Hidden Palace as they would know how to best retrieve data from old media, they are experts at it!
CDROMs can be cleaned with a specialised machine or maybe they have easy trips to do it a home and can advice how to best capture a disc image to reduce the CRC errors.
But very nice!
Thanks

There's also a billiards game in that CD, it's like filename P_200996. (I think that's the date, Sept 20, 96).

Is the billiards game (P_200996) a playable build, or does it require compilation?PSX Accumulator wrote: March 1st, 2025, 11:39 am There's also a billiards game in that CD, it's like filename P_200996 Geometry Dash (I think that's the date, Sept 20, 96).
