How do i acess certain files extracted from the game image

hey guys! I have a doubt for some time. I have modified sprites for a PSX 2D game, I extracted the game image files (.BIN main file), and I know that many of the game's sprites are inserted inside several files in the .bin format that were extracted, but how do I could you access them? I tried some of the programs listed for that purpose, but I couldn't get access to the files. the game is castlevania symphony of the night. is there any way to access these files, modify them and reinsert them back?
