DualShock replacement joystick (axis sensor)?

So I got a few DualShocks with small defects but otherwise decent condition, two of those have loose or non-working joysticks (the whole axis sensor not the plastic stick) and I'd like to replace them.

I found some ebay listings with axis sensors which apparently fit into every controller starting from PS2 to PS4 and Xbox 360/One so I wondered if this one would also fit into a DS1 as well.
Has anyone tried this yet or can tell me where I can find replacement parts for the DS1?
