making a gameshark pro v3 ?

Hello,

Is it possible to buy a cart for psx which i can flash to be a gameshark pro v3 or do i have to buy one?

Asking as it seems to be the only cart i can find my own cheats with?

Ive seen on other systems you can flash them with code from other devices amd turn them into that ifnit males sense.

I know probably every cheat ever made is on the internet but figured it might be fun to find my own too.

If theres something better to get then also please let me know.
New to all this psx stuff so thanks for any advice.

Xplorer FX devices have a built in search engine and only allow you to store/restore game saves from/to a memory card.

GameShark Pro (v3) devices have a built in search engine but also have a virtual memory card system allowing you to directly save game on the device itself.
You can get one from this USA seller if interested.

You just can't flash a generic cheat cartridge with an AR/GS v3 rom to turn it into a GameShark Pro.

Ok so i ended buying an xPlorer FX cart at a resonable price its running the last firmware but wanted to ask, can i update the built in cheats using a CD maybe? my cart says 19% full so lots of room for more.

Ok so just in case anyone ever comes back to the thread, there doesnt seem to be any difference in gameshark and xplorerfx

You can find your own cheats and it has 2 built in Virtual Memory cards as well.

So pretty much the same really.
