[WTS] PSone LCD Screen (SCPH-131) CFL Inverter/Transformer

Sorry for not replying rappdily i didnt get a notification. My inverter is a special case actually and wondered if you can give me advice. When disasembeling the screen, i pushed the inverter and now it dis attached from 1 side. Its the side with the 2 pins. One solder pad is still there and hopefully still working, but the otherone has no trace of it even being there. Can another inverter fix this? My inverter says 463w1322d1d2. Added a picture to the atrachments.
I tried booting the screen and it just flashes gray constantly with a weird sound.
If i cant fix it, would a LED mod be neccesary?

It's been a while since I last looked at one of these screens, but it looks like they are using one half of the secondary winding. You might be able to just solder across to the other side, but I don't know how it's wound because I don't have one in front of me to analyse the voltage/phase differences. You can try soldering it, but it could damage your CFL circuitry down the line.

The only safe suggestion I have is to use my spare coil. Do not do an LED mod because it doesn't have the same luminosity as the original CFL. The screen looks much dimmer and doesn't have the same contrast levels. Perhaps EL wire would work, but I don't know if it's equal to or brighter than the original bulb.

Thanks for the reply. So i would need to solder both pins onto one solder pad? Last question. Do you mail to the US?

Also, i just " connected" the inverter without solder and it works , but no backlight of course. I would assume i can install the other inverter without the solder pad.

No, you solder one side of the inverter to the other. Like the photo below. It should work, and your backlight should illuminate, but taking into my message from before, it may cause issues. It depends how the coil was wound, but the chances are it should be okay. Yes, I can ship it to the USA.

Yes, I believe 2-4 days via express, but it's very expensive for such a small part. $45 AUD.
The best one I could find however was for 1 week at $25 via standard air mail.
