PlayStation 1 System Diagnostics Tester

SDK: PSY-Q
Genre: Diagnostic Utility
Latest Release: Version 2.3

I made this program for the PlayStation so that users can test their PSX.
Simple, easy, and gets the job done.

It features 3 built in songs (to check your speakers), a dead pixel checker and controller button state tester.
I will eventually update it for CD-ROM hardware checking and DUALSHOCK vibration feedback.

Something to test playstation pad could be great, with button test and force feedback test.

Thats what this does. It tests the controller.

I will update it soon. It is pretty crappy at the moment.
Feedback (vibration) will be added soon.

Thanks for the great app!
Whats new in version 2.3? Is it worth to burn a new disc? :)

No problem. I will fix it up more sometime, but for now, it works and gets the job done.

Nothing new. Just fixed the text and a few bugs. Not worth updating if you have already burned it.

This is just what I needed. Was selling some playstations and the buyer said the controllers dint work. Normaly I use a Game, but now this is handy. (maybe pack a whole collection of test tools together and put them on a psio device in the future :P )
Development Console: SCPH-102, unkown clone Modchip, PAL , FTDI board build into the case (microUSB) for Serial I/O.
Development Computer: GNU/Linux, Arch x86_64 Linux 4.20.3, i7-3632QM [8x3.2GHz], 11,8GiB, 1366x768 GeForce GT 630M (Optimus tech), lots of gig of storage
