So I noticed my net yaroze has a warranty sticker on one of the screws:
Like this one:
From what I've seen on youtube, nobody has it
Maybe it's a refurbish?
Or maybe a late model run?
I didn't think much of it when I first got it march 1999 (kind of late in it's life).
I got it direct from SCEE UK, I can't remember how much I paid for it.. I doubt it was the full $700USD
Anyone else with it, or knows why these where put on?
Interesting anyway.
Net Yaroze with a Warranty sticker seal??

Looks like a refurbished unit? Heat it up carefully with a hair-dryer (just so it is warm) and peel that crap off.
Otherwise, you'll get uneven colouring of the fire retardant in the plastic due to oxygenation.

update: 11 Feb 16 After thinking about it more, I'll leave it as is- it looks new so the when refurb sony must of repaced the shell and whatever was wrong with it.. so I guess it'll last longer then a non refurbished one

Interesting. They must have just grabbed any label they could at the time to stick it on when shipping them since it doesn't obviously look like a well done job in the design aspect of itTriMesh wrote:My Yaroze (which I got directly from Sony) also had that sticker on it - I think it was standard for the PAL ones.
