Net Yaroze Dev

Hi,

I've been looking into doing some hobby PSX dev. I've had some success running though some tutorials and using the no$psx emulator but I'd really like to dev on real hardware and the Net Yaroze looks like a possible option with the bonus of having a region free machine (I live in a PAL region but there are a number NTSC games I want to own). Has anyone had much success using the Net Yaroze with a modern machine? Ideally, I'd use Psy-Q but I'd also like to be able to run a debugger on the machine too. It that possible?
