But how does it work? I can't jump far enough to get through the first screen. An instruction booklet or walkthrough for that screen would be very helpful.
The game specs posted above mention something about "Controller: DUALSHOCK", does that mean that it does require an analog gamepad for solving the game? If so, it should throw an error message when trying to play the game with normal digital pads.

Sorry for not clarifying, you can use the circle button to dash which will help you make gaps.
As for the dualshock flag, it simply allows for the left stick as a alternate movement option.

That much I knew. But I think I have now figured out the controls:wildmonkeydan wrote: ↑August 15th, 2023, 3:24 am you can use the circle button to dash which will help you make gaps.
Button X = Normal jump (in direction up, or up+left/right) (default is up)
Button O = Boost jump (in any of the eight DPAD directions) (default is left or right)
Normal + boost jump can be combined: Do normal jump, then boost jump while still being in the air.
Multiple boost jumps can be done in series when touching the walls.
Steering appears to be possible while in the air.
