Linux for the PSX does exist. I have never tried it however.
Development Console: SCPH-5502 with 8MB RAM, MM3 Modchip, PAL 60 Colour Modification (for NTSC), PSIO Switch Board, DB-9 breakout headers for both RGB and Serial output and an Xplorer with CAETLA 0.34.
PlayStation Development PC: Windows 98 SE, Pentium 3 at 400MHz, 128MB SDRAM, DTL-H2000, DTL-H2010, DTL-H201A, DTL-S2020 (with 4GB SCSI-2 HDD), 21" Sony G420, CD-R burner, 3.25" and 5.25" Floppy Diskette Drives, ZIP 100 Diskette Drive and an IBM Model M keyboard.

created the basic for ps1, I have, but do not know how to use, because they created?
Linux for PS1? Doesn't sound very usefull for me, unless if you would manage to attach a keyboard and create some better quality image (even for simple text editing normal television screen would kill my eyes).

Linux for ps1, open a terminal on the serial line will just do fine.
I see a nice old server park with ps1's stacked together doing grapix on multiple tv's

I found them in my archives that I downloaded a long time ago. Uploaded it to Google now.
All that's needed is a keyboard hack, PlayStation mouse, and RGB as your video out and you have a basic PC.

Has anyone yet managed to get this thing really workig on a ps1 ? Maybe some screenshots ?
