What the green and brown banks in TIMTOOL?

Graphic based area of development (Graphics Processing Unit), including the Geometry Transform Engine (GTE), TIM, STR (MDEC), etc.

What the green and brown banks in TIMTOOL?

What are the green and brown bank sections for in the TIMTOOL for? I believe they are the buffers, but what for??

I think that's the area where stuff is drawn to display.
So you cannot use that area to store any textures, as they get overwriten.
If you change display resolution you can see that size of those areas changes also.

I eventually found the PDF in the Psy-Q DOC's folder that explains it very well :>
They will only get overwritten if you use double buffering I believe.
