Weird ps1 issue

Hi, so i decided to refurbish my ps1 (fat gray model) after dead from so many years in the storage with new laser assembly I connected it and this screen would show up, i tried remove the laser assembly but still same issue happening, what could be the issue exactly?

Looks like a short circuit or bad chips.
I'd assume a short first, possibly from some metal item that fell onto the mainboard and lodged itself in-between some pins.
Open the console and carefully check all the GPU, GPU RAM, CPU and CPU RAM pins for alien parts that could short them.
