Never mind. I figured it out. But why does the bird animation have to be at the 640 point? Why not just the 0 point?

Very cool game, do you take suggestions? Why not make the characters and map smaller and have more trees and trolls? You could have some that patrol an area until you're in their vicinity and then they will try and catch you.
