Re: no$psx v2.0 released - 12 Aug 2017

"New no$psx version should work with the DeathBall - but only with one joypad (which makes the game rather unplayable; no$psx has some support for up to 12 joypads when emulating 12 consoles at once, but it still lacks support for more than (1) joypad per console )." :naughty :naughty :naughty...

Q: what's faster in VRAM Same tpage?

1: A large single 120x 24 GsSprite, which is mostly blank (transparent)
2: Or 2 smaller 24x24 GsSprites

I know in openGL, #2 is faster, but I know LibGS has render call overheads.
Anyone know?

Re: [RPG] Zia and the Goddesses of Magic

Why would you press dreamcast/jaguar games, they don't have any security to warrant it? Unless it's an order quantity thing? But even if you wanted to press a PS1 cd, can you actually replicate the wobble? Re PS1 collecting, i've been keeping up with collectors too and PS1 is becoming fashionable to...

Re: Petscop : Is this game possible on PS1 hardware?

The question is, is it actually running on PS1 hardware? you will never know, unless the guy make a video showing the CD spinning on a real hardware. but really, I doubt a Unity game could reproduce the 320x240 pixel look of it + composite video output glitches. I believe you man, if you think it's...

Re: Mantain the original CLUT on TIM & Work on Gimp!

Make sure your using the colours from the colour pallet and not using tools which create new colours. I'm doing some work on CLUT swapping sprites (a crappy doom trace). I use gimp, it has good CLUT features, ie arranging/modding etc. I export out as PCX, then I convert to tim using https://github.c...

Re: Petscop : Is this game possible on PS1 hardware?

this Petscop game is totally doable on a PS1, there are many games made in the late Playstation days that have advanced smooth lighting source, so I think the light effect is feasible, and for the bucket, it just seems to be some gouraud shaded polygon like in Tobal 2 Nobody is saying it can't be d...

Re: superinternetfriends.com dead (Net Yaroze interviews)

Well, I didn't get a reply, I occasionally check the archive.org site to see if by any chance it was back, and one day it was there :D I thought I'd make a backup (via firefox, save as) just in case :? The next day, it wasn't there, and it's still not there.. :shrug Anyway, I've uploaded the intervi...

You could be right, even this one from Sony UK has it, but that one is Japanese? :shrug

superinternetfriends.com dead (Net Yaroze interviews)

This site had good interview of Net Yaroze dev's. The owner has let the domain expire and archive.org now doesn't have a archive  They did have it, and I read one a week ago, but now this week it's not there: http://web.archive.org/web/20160316072142/http://www.superinternetfriends.com/ Because...
