Re: TonyHax Boot CD is TonyHax without the Hax, Tony, and memory card or specific game requirements
I think what we need most is a TonyHax CD that lets us select the hacked save-game that we want to use and writes it to the memory card. To load it we would just need to do the swap trick one time, and let it make a TonyHax memory card. I recently came back to this idea and did just that. MCTOOL fo...

Re: What are your must-own PS1 games?
I'm not sure if these are must-own but these are some good titles.
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Descent
Mega Man X4
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2
There are so many more worth playing but we could be here all day going through the library.

Having more options is a good thing. I'm sure there are others out there that might benefit from this. I remember the TOC issues when I used the swap trick way back before I had a system with a modchip. It was annoying for games with cd audio tracks. I think I saw somewhere that some models can actu...

Re: Need help getting into PS1 developing
I've always wanted to get into PS1 game development, but there's nothing I can find to help me begin, not even the basics. I can learn C (heck, even Assembly) if needed and I can code in stuff like Pascal, JavaScript, Python and C#, so programming isn't an obstacle. Are there any docs or just anyth...

Re: UniROM 0.44 - Bugfixes, woo!
A tip for anyone having problems with the Nocash CD Unlock and games doing odd things. After I noticed a number of games having problems being booted with UniROM I tried using UniROM to send the Unlock code and then I loaded GameShark Lite, the CD based version created for systems without the parall...
