Re: Metrowerks CodeWarrior for PlayStation, R4 and R5
This should work for the license file: FEATURE WIN32_PLAYSTATION_MIPS metrowks 1 permanent uncounted 282F5D36CA60 \ HOSTID=ANY Copy and paste the above to a text file, save it as license.dat I don't remember if CW checks for the license file in a specific location, or if it allows you to choose whe...

Glad to see people interested in these.
There's been some more discs dumped since I posted these; I'll see if I can share them sometime soon.

Re: Various goodies for y'all :)
http://www.psxdev.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=1531 That post links to JP versions of 4.4 and 4.6 (among other older versions). The EN 4.4 leaked a long time ago also has the pssn\gnusrc folder with what seems to be GCC source. PS: I'm not at home, otherwise I'd gladly upload just those folder...

Re: Various goodies for y'all :)
What I would really like to see is the archive containing the source code of the GCC based SDevTC toolchain so I can in theory compile PlayStation projects in Linux natively. That archive has been mentioned in change logs but its omitted in most distributions I've found. Well, the Runtime Library 4...

Yup, you know me: I like sharing old stuff, for preservation purposes
Yeah, the first incarnations of ProDG (PS1 and N64) were IDEs only. Haven't used them but they're probably simpler than CodeWarrior or Visual Studio. But hey, some people prefer simple

Re: Various PS1 SDK discs newly dumped
Even though these are JAP releases, some of the included tools are in English, so it's a matter of trying.
You can still use the docs from the previous/other english discs we have for reference

Re: Metrowerks CodeWarrior for PlayStation, R4 and R5
Well, the key you provided worked wonders and I was able to get R5 working fully. Thanks so much for that! Glad it worked, but credits go to FCN as well as windwakr from AssemblerGames I was able to convert the Runtime Library 4.6 COFF binaries to LIB format using the PSPro Lib Convert 4.3 example ...

Re: Metrowerks CodeWarrior for PlayStation, R4 and R5
All manuals for CW are included in the discs, and should be available as an option during installation. If you browse the discs, you'll find them in: Release 4: CodeWarrior PSX Pro\CodeWarrior Documentation there's a Quickstart here, and more docs in the subfolders Release 5: CodeWarrior for PlaySta...

Re: Toolchain, libraries and headers relationship
Not to get lost in translation... is that a:
1-Yes, you can grab the libs/headers and use them, they are indepentend of the compiler
or
2-No, you can't use them as-is, there is some kind of dependency between compiler and libs/headers.

Toolchain, libraries and headers relationship
Ok, this will sound either really crazy, or really noob (or maybe both), but I thought I'd ask anyway: The official SCE PS1 SDK (or whatever you want to call it) includes compilers, libraries and header files (plus other stuff irrelevant to this post). Now, let's say I want to build my own compiler,...

Re: Yopaz IceStar, New Puzzle game, available on sale!
@Orion_ Any chance you'd make this available as a download? I'm willing to pay for it. The reason I'm not asking for a CD, is that lately our customs office is getting stricter and adding forms and complexity to the process, to the point where it's nearly impossible for a person (ie. non-business) t...
