That one isn't documented in MESS, so would be nice if you could provide some info or the actual BIOS file. TIAI dumped it years ago

Re: [DOWNLOAD] PlayStation 1 BIOS Collection
The SCPH5000.bin file that you added is a confirmed bad dump. The correct SCPH-5000 dump matches the DTL-H1200 and the DTL-H3000, at least, according to MESS ( http://git.redump.net/mame/tree/src/mess/drivers/psx.c ) and according to logic

Re: [DOWNLOAD] PlayStation 1 BIOS Collection
SCPH-5502 should have the same BIOS as SCPH-5552...
you will find that the redump.org BIOS collection is much more accurate/complete:
http://redump.org/datfile/psx-bios/
http://redump.org/datfile/ps2-bios/

Re: How to dump your CDROM BIOS (Firmware)
I think he's worried about copyrights. By the way, you listed a SCPH-5001 in the download thread as missing, but that model doesn't exist... Wikipedia's had this wrong for years (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_models and http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File: ... rboard.jpg ).
