Re: NO$PSX Feature Requests
I've mentioned it before, but support for PocketStation memory card functions - the ability to save and load PocketStation-specific data on a memory card - would be greatly welcomed. To date, XEBRA is the only PS1 emulator with support for these functions. (Relatedly, NO$GBA is also unable to save d...

Re: NO$PSX V2.1 Released (20th Aug 2022)
Yeah, maybe it would be enough to implement some chip ID and get RTC commands, to unlock the transfers in MuuMuu... and then use the files in PK201 (or no$gba should also work). If that's enough to get it working, that'd be awesome! PocketStation support tends to get overlooked in other PS1 emulato...

Re: NO$PSX V2.1 Released (20th Aug 2022)
I'm not sure what you want to do: Store pocketstation files files on regular memory cards, but why? And do you want to do that on real hardware, or in no$psx, or in any other emulators in general? Ah no, I was hoping that no$psx supported PocketStation-type memory cards, for PocketStation-related f...

Re: NO$PSX V2.1 Released (20th Aug 2022)
Awesome to see NO$PSX getting some love again, thank you for the update! I saw there's a change to the bios that relates to the PocketStation. Does this affect the emulator at all? I've been unable to get Pocket MuuMuu (a Japanese PS1 game packed with PocketStation games and apps) to transfer Pocket...

Re: IMG2TIM-EX - Fork of Lameguy's img2tim with new functions.
Nice to have a command line tool, thank you for forking this! Edit: Figured out my issue! Img2Tim-EX requires an indexed 8-bit image in order to automatically detect if it is using 16 colors or less. My image technically used less than 16 colors, but was saved as a 24-bit image. Original post below ...

Re: New user! Curious about how to reverse PS1 data files
Unless you have some personal ethic against "extreme sports" or you aren't willing to take the (albeit minimal) risks associated with them, you won't believe what you can find for free while wading fast-moving rivers... word to the wise ;) Y'know, I didn't even consider it for some reason...

Re: New user! Curious about how to reverse PS1 data files
It's good to know that there's some amount of standardization at least, even with custom format headers thrown into the mix. If anyone happens to have experience ripping 3D models and can share how they tend to work, that'd be awesome. In the meantime, I'll try PSYQ docs! I'm assuming they're part o...

New user! Curious about how to reverse PS1 data files
Hi all, I'm Lollie — primarily a visual artist, but I tinker and toy with games/gamedev a fair bit. I'm hoping for some pointers in the right direction! I'm interested in ripping game data (currently, textures and models) from a few early PS1 games, but I know this tends to be easier said than don...

Re: PSX Graphic Artist CD
For what it's worth, quoting from Kao's thread about this disc on Assembler (alt link: obscuregamers archive ) Unfortunately this is sourced from a CD-R burned by a developer, so it's not from the original disc itself. That likely means there was no DTL attributed to this disc. One user mentions tha...
