Re: How to encode STR video files
I know that VCD doesn't use STR format, but it's not a VCD. This is one of the PS1 video discs, recorded in the format of regular game videoclips + there is a player (PSX.EXE) for PS1, which plays STR. Such discs did not require a "Video CD" console model or additional hardware to play the...

Re: How to encode STR video files
Hello everyone! Found an interesting VIDEO CD for PS1: I haven't tested it on console, but it works on pSX 1.13 . The peculiarity is that a movie was somehow stuffed onto 1 CD, more than 90 minutes long ! The format is clearly not STR , but compatible with the PS1. The soundtrack here is in mono, bu...

Hello. I don't know if it was already or not, I'm interested in information on the structure of the PS1 disk image. Mainly, I'm interested in how to correctly read the table of contents of the image with the names of the files contained in the image and get offset/length for the data itself? I want ...

Re: Hello World message with another EXE-runner by Start/X
Another problem arose: I compiled EXE "in" " PSOne Development Studio 2006 " and renamed it to "PSX.EXE ". Then compiled the image, but pSX 1.13 writes in command prompt the following: r3000: executed illegal opcode bfc06fdc r3000: executed illegal opcode 00797474 r3000...
