Re: PSDEV Competiton #02 - Codeblast 2013
You never know. There must be other people out there like us, but they just haven't found websites like this.Shadow wrote:Ah, my mistake. It seems as if a little communication mix up took place
Anyway, I don't know if it would pick up as the PSX gaming days are over

Re: PSDEV Competiton #02 - Codeblast 2013
PSX scene seems quite small these days. I might create my own website and do my part for the PSX scene. Feel free to make another website. In all honesty though, It wont help a single bit. I added the homebrew section here with a member area for FTP uploading so we host your game for you. We are al...

Re: PSX arrived damp?
Well I've just spoken to the seller on eBay. They said let it dry out and give it a try. If there are any problems now, or within the next month they'll replace it. Sounds fair enough to me.

PSX arrived damp?
Hi all, I've just bought a PSX to mod, however it's arrived damp (even under the CD lid), with lots of condensation inside the packaging. I've put it straight in the airing cupboard to dry it out but I'm worried it'll have caused permanent damage. I bought it from eBay so I can always send it back, ...

Infoteam International PSX Console Controller ATA (re v2.1)?
What is a rev 2.1 block? You can see one in this auction on eBay in the pink bag. It has a PSX controller on one end and a long slot (that looks like an IDE connection) on the white block.
Any ideas?

Re: Mod chip for PAL SCPH-1002?
Do either of you have a wiring diagram for a PAL SCPH-1002 PlayStation?
I currently have no idea where I'm soldering this chip to haha.

Re: Mod chip for PAL SCPH-1002?
Yeah, we used to sell them flashed and ready to install with wire included with free shipping worldwide. Surely you'll find some service that'll allow you to accept payment for them? PSX modchips are virtually impossible to find online these days. They're " as rare as rocking horse shit "...

Re: Mod chip for PAL SCPH-1002?
Thanks for the info Estacaco . Correct me if I'm wrong but those chips aren't flashed? Ideally I'd like to get one that's pre-flashed so I can just glue it and solder the wires into place. I don't really want to get a PIC programmer if I can really help it. PSXDEV , I only realised you guys used to ...

Johno salutes you!
Hi all, I'm Johno, 28 and from the UK. I'm massively into retro gaming, specifically on the Mega Drive/Genesis. I'm also a massive fan of the PlayStation 1, which is what brought me here. I've recently found a load of old imported games in the attic, which had me looking up some stuff online and lea...

Mod chip for PAL SCPH-1002?
Hi all, To cut a long story short my original PSX died years ago and got binned. This week, while clearing the attic I came across my old PSX games and really want to play them again. Some of these games are US releases, so I need to make my new PSX region free. I've managed to buy a SONY refurbishe...
