Questions about my motherboard
My PSone is a SCPH-102 PAL PM-41 (A), it was working yesterday with the modchip, my playstation used to turn on without showing any image nor sound on the TV, then I removed the modchip and it stopped working (it doesn't turn on). https://i.imgur.com/bhrnxD4.jpg https://i.imgur.com/krwXRA5.jpg https...

Re: Difference between SCPH-102A and SCPH-102C?
Ok so the difference is just about the chips on the motherboard (hardware)
Does scph-102c has to be modded with a different diagram than scph-102a's?

Difference between SCPH-102A and SCPH-102C?
Hi, what is the difference between PSone SCPH-102A and SCPH-102C ? Do they have different diagram to mod the ONEchip (pic 12c508) on own motherboard ? I have seen that FatCat proposes two different diagrams (with 8 wires), I think the first diagram is for SCPH-102A http://www.fatcat.co.nz/psx/instal...

Re: PSone doesn't spin games
Which individual components are you talking about?
I just need to install the modchip on the new board, right?

Re: PSone doesn't spin games
This modchip was set more than 10 years ago by a store in my neighbourhood. In the last picture you see glue and it's not up on wiring of the CPU I'm sure and checked it. How shall I fix the issues without getting a new motherboard? Do I have to cut those fuse blocks? is there anyway to fix without ...

Re: PSone doesn't spin games
Here are the images, however thank you very much for helping me I really need to solve this issue; (otherwise I'll have to spend money to buy the modchip from EurAsia and Used Console (Like new) from Amazon.com and it'll cost a lot because of shipping fee to my country) http://i.imgur.com/H2LoA52.j...

Re: PSone doesn't spin games
To be honest I don't think the problem is about a solder bridge I checked them all; I have a modded playstation 1 (PSone PAL SCPH-102) and it doesn't spin the dics, I thought the problem was about the laser (old laser spinned discs for a while and then stops itself; it stopped spinning definitively ...

Re: PSone doesn't spin games
Wiring of modchip is right because it worked before. The old laser used to spin discs for a while and then stops itself, once upon a time I adjusted the potentiometer so after several attempts the laser didn't spin discs anymore, but the new laser doesn't spin the games as well. It's not about the l...

PSone doesn't spin games
I have a modded playstation 1 and it doesn't spin the dics, I thought the problem was about the laser (old laser spinned discs for a while and then stops it; though old laser stopped spinning discs since I've adjusted the trimmer) so i bought a new one but the problem persists.

Re: Help: Modchip PSone
My PSone is SCPH-102 PAL, so I should buy this one http://www.eurasia.nu/shop/product_info ... cts_id=275 and refer to the diagram in the bottom that's the related one to PSone chip I've found on EurAsia.
Am I right?
