PlayStation Development Network

Hi everyone, i actually have a weird modchip on my Playstation 9002, see here :

With this modchip i always need to push reset after booting an original game, but no problem with most of the copies.
So today i have decided to change it by a multimode 3 and so i would like to know if this modchip is the best for the playstation 1 and this scheme is good http://christophe.mahe.free.fr/PSX/scph900x.jpg ?

My only tip would be to use thinner wire. That gauge is way to thick.
Also be careful when removing the old wire(s). Make sure the solder is complety heated and soft before tugging on the wire. If you dont heat the solder enough, you will lift a pad.
