Is is possible to write PSX games on a Mac?

I write iOS applications for a living but have always been interested in older consoles like the N64/PSX. I've Googled around and have come across Psy-Q SDK for Winows but have had no luck finding things for Mac. Does anyone know if I can write software for the PSX using a Mac?

I've never seen anything like it, and it's probably technically impossible. But it would be interesting to hear the opinions of others!

I think it's doable - you would probably have to abandon the idea of using the original PsyQ/SDevTC tools and base it around something like PSn00bSDK instead, since that supports much more modern tools and is already buildable on Linux - since MacOS is heavily BSD flavored it might require a bit of adaptation, but certainly nothing show-stopping.
