Thanks for posting this! Resident Evil is awesome, and playing 1.5 is very interesting compared to Resident Evil 2.
CAPCOM did a fantastic job on this. It's a shame they didn't release it because they would have put so many hours into development for it.

Here is a screenshot of the save screen. I set it as my wallpaper on my desktop xD
I thought some other people may like it too. I will see if I can remaster it as a vector.
To acquire it, I dumped the VRAM and cut it out of the rendering area.
It seems as if CAPCOM was using a 320x240 VRAM buffer (NTSC) as below the rendering area they have placed the CLUT. This makes sense as the EXE is in NTSC mode anyway
The fonts and textures are either in 8-bit or 4-bit colour modes.
I did some snooping within the PS-EXE, but I didn't manage to find any images.
I did however manage to extract the XA sectors (CAPCOM start up chime sound effect).
