PlayStation Development Network

Hello everbody, my first post here. I've recently came across PS1 that has, i'd say, some "uncommon mod" (usb/serial 10 pin connector i think ?) so i suppose it could've been some dev kit thing. Model is SCPH-5502 PAL version
I'd appreciate any help and info you could give me on this, thanx!

I use the same connector on my 5502, and I use it for serial comms. However, it's best to pull your system apart and check where it's going to make sure.

It goes right below AV Multi Out port and to the motherboard i think....Does it make any sense ?

Well if you want to know what it is, don't guess. Take it apart and check and upload a photo if you can, because it could now be an RGB breakout cable.

Looks like its just a crude breakout cable to the AV pins, nothing special other than being able to easily access said pins for S video and RGB.
