Just one thing I noticed was on your site the year is incorrect. It should be 2022 (not 2017). The same goes for V2.1.

Yes. The only time you do not short it is if you have the CD-ROM drive connected to that port.

Interesting to see the SCPH-20000 PCB photo with the 44pin (M) SC440881 chip. Is there a known firmware dumping method for those Motorola 44pin chips? Or for other Motorola 32pin/64pin chips (=those used in Digital Joypad, Mouse, and old Memory Cards)? Never looked into if they have a dump method a...

Detecting the OS and applying the correct code to support it would be ideal, that way NO$PSX still works under Win16 systems. No point ditching Win16 support just because the exit code is broken on modern systems.

Fixed a problem on the forums where users couldn't upload their avatars.
Gravatar avatars were enabled.

It's working fine for me, and I even made a test account and it worked fine. It looks like a problem with your account for some reason. I'll look into it...

No need to drill anything. Just use Bluetooth or WiFi RS232.
