Hello:

I have a very old Pro Action Replay PS1, the first they have taken. I want information about it.

I've never even introduced codes directly from the parallel port. It will use its own program. If someone knows ...
What's the name of the program?
If you look closely, you can put up to Microchip's PIC rather than Atmel ARV. Pic is much easier to get.
I remember at the time boasted PSX this Action Replay Pro has 1Mb (1 Megabit, 1 Megabyte). I see very little at this stage of life. Good to know that this device uses components from the old days.

1- AT29C010A12PC
1- 74HC245AN
1- PALCE16V8H
1- 1k resistor, less than 1 / 4W.
1- capacitor, 100uF / 16V.
2- 10nF capacitors. (104).
1- 78L05 encapsulation T0-92.
1 parallel port connector male.
1 small switch.

Do not know if this is the scheme.

On this site there are links to program the codes directly to Action Replay, if more modern publish it here.

You need additional circuitry to use the DB-25 port for communications.
Search the forums for "Freewing" and "Comms Link".

Hey there:

From what I understand, the PSX 9002 has no parallel port version, still you can solder the 40 pin.

It is a very delicate and hard work, maybe someone will have already done in the past.

I have the 7002, so you can do many things.

Hopefully this guide will give you a better idea of what software to use where. A lot of things have been updated or patched to run on windows 7 and up.

Hi:

1. Is there any other link to be able to download the program to write codes directly to the parallel port from the computer or PC of the "PS1 Action Replay Pro"?

This link when you could download the program no longer works.

2. Are there more schematics of "Action Replay Pro" itself even if it is made with Arduino?

Saludos.
