USB PIC Programmer off ebay , yes or no ?

hi members , this mainly goes to Shadow and Cybdyn others can comment too..........


im in the market for a USB PIC Programmer for programming PSX modchips for personal use , i was wondering if the ones on ebay are any good ?

this one is one i have my eye on............

thanks for taking the time to reply Shadow , i think ill go with the $30 model over building


recently i worked with someone over at another forum to create the below , i drew it and did a tiny bit of calculating but the rest of the work is done by someone else. They figured out what resistor to use and told me where to probe on the Wii sensor bar to get numbers we needed to do calculations.

its no way the level with what you and Cybdyn are doing but still interesting
