TMD File Export or Save as

Post by cosi » September 7th, 2014, 10:43 am

I have Ripped lots of TMD files and view/edit in graphic programs such as 3DS and Milkshape3D. However, when i tried to save as or export the material i edit, i cant see any TMD extension. Because i will import TMD file to PSX iso to change sime places or boot screen

If i summarize, i need .xxx to TMD convertor (where xxx can be jpeg, bmp or 3ds etc.....)

I googled every site but i could not find a program or tool which converts graphic file to TMD....

Someone help please......

Ages ago I made a video showing how to do this. I deleted it because I didn't do it right.
I also had some links to useful old websites, but they are all dead and not on the Internet Archive. I should have backed them up :crying

Here is an old photo I took of the processes you need to do:

TMD

To create the DXF (Milkshape or compatible).
Creates the RSD with dxf2rsd or Metasequoia (suggested).
Add colors and textures (TIM) with rsdtool.
Create the TMD with (rsdlink)

Example

1)) caixa.dxf - was created with MilkShape.

2)) c: \ psx \ test> dxf2rsd caixa.dxf ==> caixa.rsd is created.

3)) Opens with caixa.rsd rsdtols adds color and texture and saves.

4)) c: \ psx \ test> rsdlink caixa.tmd caixa.rsd ==> caixa.tmd is created

I've had RSD Animator for a few years now, as well as several other tools. I'll screenshot my Windows 98 PSX development machine sometime so you can see all the software I have.

And why don't you share your disc? Oh wait. It's "illegal" apparently... :roll:
All jokes aside, yeah, when I have time I will try to get some programs up.
