Playstation 1 Memory Card Manager using the official Playstation 3 Memory Card USB Adaptor

Post by Orion_ » May 5th, 2019, 3:26 am

I made this tool that allow you to manage your game saves from a Playstation 1 Memory Card on your Windows PC.

You can:
Read from or write to a real Playstation 1 Memory Card using the official Playstation 3 Memory Card USB Adaptor.
Load a Memory Card from multiple file format (*.mc *.mcr *.mcd *.mcx *.gme)
Save a Memory Card to *.mc file format.
Export a single save file to *.mcs file format.
Import a single save file to the currently loaded Memory Card from *.mcs or *.bin file format.
Delete a single save or create a brand new formated Memory Card.

Provided with a Playstation 3 Memory Card Adaptor USB driver compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, either 32bits or 64bits !

Nice to finaly see some love for my CECHZM1, merci beaucoup Orion_ ! :)

Quick question:
I previously used your ps3mca-ps1mc tool but to install the driver with Windows 10 x64, i had to reboot in recovery advanced restart mode and disable driver signature enforcement, else it wouldn't install.

Judging by your video tutorial this isn't required anymore right ?

The driver for the "ps3mca-ps1mc" used an old version of libusb's driver that wasn't compatible with 64bits (due to driver signature needed)
Now I use the new version of libusbK's driver, which have a signature and works with all version of windows :)
I know lots of people complained about the Windows 10 incompatibility, so now this is fixed :) (6 years later, lol)

Anybody know of any knock-offs/clones of the adapter?
The original CECHZM1/SCPH-98042 has reached triple-digit-prices on eBay by now.
