Looks very good! It reminds me a lot to Orion's "Yopaz Ice Star". BTW, how did you get that star effect at the beginning? At least on PSXSDK, IIRC scaling is limited to multiples of 2 (x4, x8, x0.5...).

Thanks! I use the standard scalex/scaley variables from GsSPRITE. According to the Psy-Q documentation it says...
These values are expressed in units of 4096, which stands for 1.0 (i.e. is the same size as 1.0). You can set these values up to 8 times the original size.
...but it also seem to work if I use values between the units.

Nice game. I like it. Even if it's similar to Orion's Yopaz it has something that Yopaz doesn't have. Single-handed control. It's really great that you put the Confirm button also on the L1 button after each level. That way, you can play the whole game with your left hand and write down your passwords with your right hand, if you use the right keys as a D-pad during a level then you could play it with your right hand alone. It would also be KidsStation controller compatible ;-).
If you add Multiplayer you could play four player games using only two controller like in Bomberman.
An alternative soundtrack would be nice. After a while it gets a bit monotonous.
But it's really nice that you added sound at all.
Are you planning to publish the source code or is it supposed to stay closed?
What other plans do you have for the game right now?

@mxtp: Thanks, glad you like it! I don't think that multiplayer would really work with this game concept, except for a time trial maybe?!? I'm not planning to publish the source at the moment. My goal is to add more levels in the next versions, especially harder ones.
