Not with the Arduino UNO, but the Arduino Leonardo will be ok. The "CJMCU Beetle" that I use is a mini version of the Leonardo.

Yes it's working, the software is a remake of Caetla's PSEXE.COM, most of the features works, just the console mode need to be finish.

Awesome :D
So you changed the protocol a bit to work properly with whole bytes?

The hardware take care of the complex protocol, so that leave us with a more user friendly interface. Whole bytes rules :D

how easy would it be to change the code slightly ao we can use a pro micro 32u4?

i have loads of these for other projects thats all but unfortunately D11 isnt present.

great news though and great work. look forward to trying it out. i never managed to get the action replay version working.

Can it be used with X-Flash disc/X-Killer to dump/flash cartridges so we wouldn't need a PC with a real parallel port anymore ?

I will make the change for the pro micro, but I do not have a hardware to do the test, I will pm you the new firmware when it's done.

Thanks for the info, interesting project regardless. :)
Do you plan to sell already built cables when you're done ?

Just to add to this I have this working on the Arduino Leonardo and it works great so far. Just waiting for the console mode and if possible the pc fileserver mode and it's perfect. Great work Greg I have been waiting years for this.

So long as Greg doesn't have a problem with it I may start making cables for sale in the near future.
