Hello guys, how are you?
I have a strange problem with my 102, precisly with the laser (original BAM). The laser coil looks like make a weird sound with my backup and original disk...i changed the laser but nothing. I can't found nothing on the net and maybe i'm the only one with this problem .
What it could be?
Thanks in advance and...enjoy this video for demostration!

Sounds like the coils epoxy has become loose and a wire or two is resonating as it tries to adjust the focus voltage.

Hi Shadow!
Sorry for the late response. Mmh, yeah. I think was a problem with a laser coil and i change the OPU with an AEM. But the same result. Maybe is some IC calibrate wrong the FOCUS. There is no way to eliminate this noise?
Thank you ^^!

Don't know sorry. I can't solve this issue without physically seeing the console.~PSXLoVeR95~ wrote:Hi Shadow!

If you replaced the drive, maybe it could be something to do with the plastic case rubbing on something.
