not possible.
"mod" is an old "Amiga Sound-Format". if you really need a "wav" to "mod" , you must! make samples/instruments of the "wav" and use "FastTracker 2" to compose a "mod" --> save to mod-file.
now you have a "yoursound.mod".

later you must convert "mod" to "hit" when using the Hitmod.player. with "mod2hit.com"
than compile to "C" to "O" --> load it into your PS1-exe.
if you have any Question or need a Script: ---> let me know.

you must load your Wav Sound into a cutting sound programm. i use Soundforge. in soundforge make instruments from the wav-file. drums, snares, synth, fx ---> save them all to short "samples.wav"
open FastTracker. load instruments in free slots ( your created wav-samples)
now go into the pattern section and compose a song with the loaded instruments. later you can save this song as : "yoursound.mod"
if you don't know how to use fasttracker, you can view some Tutorials on Youtube or send me your WAV-File and i make a mod sound for you. not the same but just the intro or so.

the easiest way is: load a "*.mod" sound file into fasttracker 2 and see what it does.
like i said: i can compose for you the mod file by your wav.

if you don't know how to include a modfile into a demo or program feel free to ask.

if you wanna make a MOD File you must create Instruments of your wav-Song. 8bit/ 22kHz
~ now start Fasttracker2
~ load the Instruments into the Sample Slots
~ compose a song in the Pattern
~ save as ---> yoursong.mod

now you have a compatible Modfile for Hitmens PS1 Modplayer

WAV is a composite file, MOD is sequenced. Two completely different format types, best to read up on VGM 101.

if you wanna make a MOD File you must create Instruments of your wav-Song.
EDIT:
if you create Intruments by *.WAV Files it must have the following Settings:
8bit/ Samplerate: 8.000
or use old AMIGA *.IFF standard

settings for Export to a valid *.wav instrument:

Image

~ now start Fasttracker2
~ load the Instruments into the Sample Slots
~ compose a song in the Pattern
~ save as ---> yoursong.mod AMIGA Linear Table

now you have a compatible Modfile for Hitmens PS1 Modplayer

you can also check my "mod sound file" for your own pleasure. i made this track in 2002 with FastTracker 2 and only *.wav instruments.

There has been an open source remake of that old player by Nicolas Noble..

See here :- https://github.com/grumpycoders/pcsx-re ... /modplayer

However you still need to load the data into memory from either CD, serial, parallel or by including it in your EXE
