"Here's some code I threw together for the original playstation
using the Blade libs and MIPSGCC. It basically just a rotating
cube with Kim Jung Ill textured mapped on it.
This is running on a real PSX with a 4 wire modchip"

This is a pretty good idea. Every month we can have small challenges like this. Every time you complete a challenge, you gain a point. Maybe once you have a certain amount of points you can claim a prize from a pool of prizes. Thanks for the idea Bizarro! :)

I'll delete this post once you have read this and I will make it into an official global topic.
Actually, it's probably better we make it every 3 months. Each month will be too quick.
Development Console: SCPH-5502 with 8MB RAM, MM3 Modchip, PAL 60 Colour Modification (for NTSC), PSIO Switch Board, DB-9 breakout headers for both RGB and Serial output and an Xplorer with CAETLA 0.34.

PlayStation Development PC: Windows 98 SE, Pentium 3 at 400MHz, 128MB SDRAM, DTL-H2000, DTL-H2010, DTL-H201A, DTL-S2020 (with 4GB SCSI-2 HDD), 21" Sony G420, CD-R burner, 3.25" and 5.25" Floppy Diskette Drives, ZIP 100 Diskette Drive and an IBM Model M keyboard.
