Dtl h2X00 vga to psx av multi out

Post by goamon » February 22nd, 2018, 10:19 pm

Hi everyone,

I have a dtl-h2500 with the s-video cable but I would like to have a rgb cable for a better picture. The dtl-h2070 is very rare unfortunately, so I planned to make a vga adaptator to psx av multi out with a scph-1160 to be able to use any psx cables (s-video, scart rgb ...).

I tried to make a correspondence table :

Code: Select all

DTL vga 					psx multi out
10	AU GND 			-------> 	1	GND	Ground
12	Audio L			-------> 	2	L	Left Audio
10	AU GND 			-------> 	3	GND	Ground
9	Audio R			-------> 	4	R	Right Audio
5	Y 			-------> 	5	Y	S-Video Y (Luma)
7	Video 			-------> 	6	CVIDEO/SYNC	Composite Video/Sync
4	C 			-------> 	7	C	S-Video C (Chroma)
8	VI GND + 6 YC GND	-------> 	8	VGND	Video Ground
3	B 			-------> 	9	B	Blue
15	DCOUT 			-------> 	10	+5V	+5 VDC
1	R 			-------> 	11	R	Red
2	G 			-------> 	12	G	Green
Is it correct? :?

I'm not sure. The only board I've owned is the DTL-H2000, and the topic information for that is here. The pinouts should be the same though.
Development Console: SCPH-5502 with 8MB RAM, MM3 Modchip, PAL 60 Colour Modification (for NTSC), PSIO Switch Board, DB-9 breakout headers for both RGB and Serial output and an Xplorer with CAETLA 0.34.

PlayStation Development PC: Windows 98 SE, Pentium 3 at 400MHz, 128MB SDRAM, DTL-H2000, DTL-H2010, DTL-H201A, DTL-S2020 (with 4GB SCSI-2 HDD), 21" Sony G420, CD-R burner, 3.25" and 5.25" Floppy Diskette Drives, ZIP 100 Diskette Drive and an IBM Model M keyboard.

Heya, I've got a DTL-H2070 if you need one - send me a PM if you're interested and we can discuss.
