PSone doesn't spin games

I have a modded playstation 1 and it doesn't spin the dics, I thought the problem was about the laser (old laser spinned discs for a while and then stops it; though old laser stopped spinning discs since I've adjusted the trimmer) so i bought a new one but the problem persists.

Sounds like it can't lock-on to the disc and detect it. It will only spin if it can see a disc, so it's either been calibrated to be under-powered of over-powered. Check the potentiometer on the mainboard or if the deck itself has been calibrated.

I have a PSone PAL SCPH-102, where is the potentiometer on the motherboard?

Ah, right. Sorry, your thread information said "PlayStation 1" but the thread title said "PSone" so I assumed a PU-7 -> PU-22 model. There is no pot on the PSone's. It's all dynamically calibrated so you'll have to adjust your laser mechanism on the new drive. If that doesn't work, the mod you've done is bad and it's interrupting the read functionality of the PSone. This is usually due to a solder bridge or incorrect wiring. It could also be the modchip is bad, but that would be a last resort.

Wiring of modchip is right because it worked before.
The old laser used to spin discs for a while and then stops itself, once upon a time I adjusted the potentiometer so after several attempts the laser didn't spin discs anymore, but the new laser doesn't spin the games as well.
It's not about the laser, I think the problem could be about the solder bridge because it looks a little oxidized so how should I fix it?

can you take a photo of the solder bridge you're referring to?

To be honest I don't think the problem is about a solder bridge I checked them all;
I have a modded playstation 1 (PSone PAL SCPH-102) and it doesn't spin the dics, I thought the problem was about the laser (old laser spinned discs for a while and then stops itself; it stopped spinning definitively
after I've adjusted its potentiometer several times) so i bought a new laser but the problem persists.
I don't think the problem is about the lasers, even though no laser spins games.

Can you snap a photo of your modchip install so we can see if there are any apparent issues that can be seen visually? Also sorry for the confusion in responding to your other thread. I didnt realize you were the same person, until you PM'ed me lol. I dont think my coffee is fully working this morning....lol

You've bypassed the fuse blocks. I have no doubt in saying that your CD-ROM drive mechanics are most likely fried. Your PSone mainboard will need to be replaced, or IC 723 (A25575N) and or IC 732 (CXD2938Q) will need to be replaced. Never ever short fuses. They are there for a reason on logic boards.

Is this your first install ever? No offense, just trying to get an understanding of where your skill set is at. By the looks of it, you may have damaged your CPU (in the last picture at the bottom). Does this even turn on at all? The console might still be salvagable, the damage could be strictly cosmetic (if you're lucky)

This modchip was set more than 10 years ago by a store in my neighbourhood.
In the last picture you see glue and it's not up on wiring of the CPU I'm sure and checked it.
How shall I fix the issues without getting a new motherboard?
Do I have to cut those fuse blocks?
is there anyway to fix without getting a new mainboard?

1) Like I said, "IC 723 (A25575N) and or IC 732 (CXD2938Q) will need to be replaced".
2) No.
3) Redundant.

1) A25575N and CXD2938Q are the components in the red squares of the pictures you posted?
2) How do I replace and buy these?
3) where can I find a motherboard for psone?
Still thank you all so much for helping me

I thought you had melted the CPU,cdidnt realize that was glue, sorry. I would go with what Shadow is saying. He would know more about the psone hardware than me

Where can I get those components or a new motherboard? Post the link if you got that please

if you go the route of replacing the mobo, you could get a cheap dead console on eBay or something. One with a bad laser where the mobo is fine, and swap it out. You'll need to reinstall the modchip onto the new board tho. As for the individual components goodluck finding those

Which individual components are you talking about?
I just need to install the modchip on the new board, right?

yes, just the modchip. The individual components, I was referring to as the same ones Shadow was referring to that were damaged on your current motherboard. Those are likely near impossible to find, unless you pull them off an existing motherboard, but it would be much less work to just replace the motherboard and move the modchip over at that point.
