Windows 98SE and PSY-Q messes with "WIN.COM" file

Post by New Nova » August 18th, 2020, 1:01 pm

Yup.
I'm trying to run the PSY-Q SDK on a real Windows 98SE computer. I followed the tutorial, and when I modified the AutoExec.BAT and add the line "CALL C:\psyq\Pspaths.bat", and reboot, it messes with the "C:\WINDOWS\WIN.COM" file which is necessary to boot windows.

Also, running the pspaths.bat doesn't work, psymake doesn't work at all even after that.

Did I do something wrong ? Is there any steps for windows 98 installation that I'm not aware of ?

Thanx !
