Well it's nice to see dedicated PS1 development even today.

I am a beginner C programmer with every intention to become better and better at it.
I find C programming very interesting and playing around with it is fun in and of itself.

However, since the PS1 is most notable for recognizing C programming the most, I have
made it my own personal goal to improve my programming skills before I even attempt to
touch the Psy-Q development kit. I do have it downloaded and ready to go on a native
Windows 2000 Professional computer (not a virtual machine).

Windows 2000 Professional is my absolutely favorite version of Windows as it is
anyway so having a real excuse to use Windows 2000 is a delight. It was the
Windows OS that I grew up with.

I'm sure I'll be posting here regularly once I get the ball rolling on my side
of PS1 development. I DO have a game idea that I have been sitting on for
quite awhile that I believe would be perfect for the PlayStation. I do actually
want to develop and release this game for all the modern consoles and on
PC/Mac as well. Although the "PlayStation version" would be available
to every one as a free download as my "Thank you" for keeping the
PlayStation alive even in 2023 and beyond.

Thank you very much for reading and I look forward to my journey
in C programming, PlayStation development and game development
for modern systems as well.
You can't kill that which does not wish to perish.

Welcome, DarkTaker1990! Aside from older Windows versions, I recommend you to use a modern, POSIX operating system such as GNU/Linux or FreeBSD and modern SDKs such as PSn00bSDK or PSXSDK, so you can make use of modern tools with better diagnostics and optimization.

Looking forward to your game idea!
