Introduction for Developing PS1 Games?

Hi PSX developers! I'm a new member of this forum and I wanted to learn any methods of making 3D games for specifically the original PlayStation. I noticed there was a nifty tutorial series on how to get started here: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITXleeB ... nnel=Wituz).

The issue is that this is only a 2D game and I'm so inspired by the Crash Bandicoot and Driver games that I wanted to take this a step further, like LameGuy64's project here: (http://www.psxdev.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=1471).

Project Scarlet is the only working 3D project I've seen so far despite some issues, but the issues don't matter to me that much considering how impressive this is!

What I want to know - and hopefully start learning soon even though it's just considered a hobby - are there any steps, tutorials, tools, resources, people who are still interested in these kinds of projects, anything that can help me get started?

Leave any useful information down below as this can help me *and future developers who become interested* start coding and burn our own custom games to our personal PS1 consoles.

Thanks! :triangle :circle :cross :square
