Modchip suggestion for PSOne with bios 4.1

Hello,

I made a bios swap in one of my Scph-102 (PM-41) machine with one from a 9002 (v4.1).
Done it for fun and not only because i prefer its UI, but it also doesn't have the extra region check.

So i was wondering which modchip you would suggest for such setup ?
I take it that OneChip isn't required anymore since there's no more bios patch to apply so should i use MM3, Mayumi or still a OneChip because of the motherboard ?

Thank you.

I think that You can still use ONEchip, just without patching BIOS as it was designed for PSone. Also only six wires for stealth instead of 7 or 8.

They are all pretty much equivalent in this application - the part of the code that carries out the actual modchip function is the same. For a non-PAL console, there is no need to connect the wire from pin 3 of the PIC to the boot ROM since you don't need the patch function.

For Mayumi or MM3, you can just install them as normal except for pin 4 - this normally goes to the reset switch and since the PSone doesn't have one you need to wire it to the same place that pin 1 goes to.
