Another that come because of the Codeblast lol.
I'm Jose, from Spain. I'm 25 and really interested in game programming, electronics and robotics and in everything that sounds to challenge .
I have to say that I didn't know there was a PSX scene community "alive". As I can see it's not so big (maybe was some days ago). I'm thinking about accept this challenge of Codeblast. Not because of the prices (I know I have no chances to win lol), but would be funny to have a working PSX game, done by myself . I'm experienced in asembler, C/C++, Java and OpenGL, and I have done some games in PSP, but I dont know almost anything about PSX development. I'm pretty sure you have a "start for noobies" post somewhere in this forum, but I dont find it. Can you give me some info like what programming language should I use, what SDK, where can I find it, documentation, emulators and (of course) some advices?
Thanks in advice.
PS: English is not my mother tongue, so sorry for my bad english
