HELLO

Post by MrBengali » May 22nd, 2020, 4:16 am

Hello,

I am MrBengali a former psx coder (back in the old days), and I have recently discovered your community. Reading
your posts, I was wondering if I could start again playing with the R3000, in a modern environment :)

Best,

MrB

Thanks! I gonna try to assemble some bytes again! What about Chocobo, Xor and the others :) In any case, glad to see that some people are still working on the psx!

Xor (aka Loser) should be still hiding on EFnet. He might be under the alias 'xorloser'. His site is still up. You can try sending an email to the postmaster there and see if he replies if you can't find him on EFnet. He quit the PSX scene 20 years ago.
Development Console: SCPH-5502 with 8MB RAM, MM3 Modchip, PAL 60 Colour Modification (for NTSC), PSIO Switch Board, DB-9 breakout headers for both RGB and Serial output and an Xplorer with CAETLA 0.34.

PlayStation Development PC: Windows 98 SE, Pentium 3 at 400MHz, 128MB SDRAM, DTL-H2000, DTL-H2010, DTL-H201A, DTL-S2020 (with 4GB SCSI-2 HDD), 21" Sony G420, CD-R burner, 3.25" and 5.25" Floppy Diskette Drives, ZIP 100 Diskette Drive and an IBM Model M keyboard.

Thanks Shadow. I will try to reach him, I would be pleased to talk with some old timers like x0r37h or AvH. EFnet brings back some old memory :) May be I could reach them on some bbs too.
