Re: [SOLVED] RGB LED CD activity mod
Yes that's the 7. I didn't make the MM3, I bought it from ebay, so maybe there's different things. The most important thing is that it's working now.

Re: [SOLVED] RGB LED CD activity mod
So I tested the mod with a screen to see if the game boots, and yes, it does. And when the CD is accessed, the LED changes color. So absolutely working.

Re: RGB LED CD activity mod
Solved. Soldered the last wire on pin 7, and the LED work. I don't have a screen available for know for being SURE that it works, but the cd spins, and seems to play.

Re: RGB LED CD activity mod
My led has the "+" on the middle leg. The other 2 are probably "-". This is a red/blue led. I tried your thing and it didn't work. The red is wired at the place of the power LED.
What can I do now ?

Re: RGB LED CD activity mod

Something like this https://www.iascaled.com/blog/driving-3-pin-bicolor-leds-with-mrservo/ For the video it is this at 19:25 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT5NSWS-znc If I solder the last pin of the LED on pin 2 of MM3, will...

Re: RGB LED CD activity mod
I don't think you need any resistor for that, just put the 3rd LED leg and it's done, I've seen a video doing it, but not on my model.

[SOLVED] RGB LED CD activity mod
Hello there, My PS1 is a SCPH-1002 PU-8 board chipped. I modded the LED with an RGB one, with 3 legs on it. For now, it is only red color since the last leg is not connected to anything. I want to know where I can solder the third led to have a CD activity thing. Like when the disc is accessed, the ...

Flashing the Xplorer FX doesn't seem to work (via Orion's website)
Hello there, maybe Orion could respond to me. From this tutorial : http://onorisoft.free.fr/retro.htm?psx/tutorial/tuto.htm I attempted to flash the Xplorer FX with catela037 (just like it says on the tutorial), but when I press X to flash, nothing happens and I'm stuck. I don't want to just reset t...

Re: Does NO$PSX works on Windows 98 ?
Ok, I changed config because the BIOS just freezed, and my win98se was kinda corrupted.
So, Fresh install of Win98SE, specs :
AMD 1.15GHz (as I searched)
512MB of RAM
64MB VRAM video card
When I launch NO$PSX it shows FATAL - Unexpected error
Any help ?

Does NO$PSX works on Windows 98 ?
It says it all. I want to know if there is a version of NO$PSX that could work on Win98SE with 800MHz Celeron and 180MB of RAM.
Or any psx emuator with TTY output on this kind of platform.
Thanks.

TTY output with real hardware (how ?)
Hello everyone, I'm building a real ps1 development environment with real old hardware. I run PSYQ on a Intel Celeron 800MHz with 180MB of RAM with Windows 98 SE. I can compile without any problem, but I wondered how to have a TTY output. I know that you can have it with NO$PSX (like in this video :...
