There were several problems, but I could download 1-st "Hello world".psx -> not .exe to the PS :-) psexe.com -P11 something.exe does not work. The Settings of CHEAT-Module ( Xploder with caetla 0.35 ): 1) HOOK-Style: DATEL. With coloured bars "picture" it does not work -> blue s...

Re: Recompile Yaroze Source

Hey all, Im wondering if anyone has attempted to update the sony tools to work correctly using the latest version of gcc? From memory the sources are pretty old version of GCC (2.7 or 2.8 from memory ), compiled using DJGPP so that they work under windows and not requiring Cygwin or anything else. ...

Net Yaroze with a Warranty sticker seal??

So I noticed my net yaroze has a warranty sticker on one of the screws: Like this one: http://www.psxdev.net/forum/download/file.php?mode=view&id=802&sid=c05fc132a5ca2d1aaccecd5a0be482fe From what I've seen on youtube, nobody has it  Maybe it's a refurbish? Or maybe a late model run? ...

Re: Siocons speed?

Turns out the WinME com1 didn't fully or correctly detect the VM hardware. "Hardware version: not available", I'm guessing that's why it's so crap. http://www.psxdev.net/forum/download/file.php?mode=view&id=798 But I tried testing if it detects USBs, and even with the PCI USB HW undete...

Re: Siocons speed?

What a headf

Siocons runs on winXP so I thought I would send the builds from winME to winXP and that batch0 example runs a lot fast :clap

I thought maybe linux/VBox was slowing it down but it's not..

Siocons speed?

So I got the yaroze SDK up and running on VirtualBox(linux host) using winME (win98 didn't detect the com1 port). I ran the c:/dev/psx/quick/tuto0 example (just writes HELLOW WORLD! to the screen) its 22k @ 115200bps and it does it in 3minutes  I don't remember taking that long, is that norma...

Re: Recompile Yaroze Source

Why can't you just install the Yaroze SDK and compile them that way? Im talking about recompiling the Yaroze compiler, which was originally compiled using an old version of DJGPP which didnt/doesnt support Windows XP etc.. When you try and build yaroze programs using the original yaroze dev kit you...

Re: Net Yaroze Boot Disc (Cracked) for SIOCONS.exe

Hi,
Just letting you know this ISO doesn't work.
I've downloaded it and extracted the ISO correctly, burning and mounting in linux fails.
The uncracked one works fine, but its a CUE/BIN, I'll try recreating it per your info.
Cheers

Re: intro

I'm having that issue, I got the 8bit ISA comms card, Action replay and (I think) an xplorer card... and a net yaroze. I don't really want to use the yaroze stuff (slow) and I don't want to buy a PC that's 20 years old  Does a USB parallel port work? ie: http://www.jaycar.com.au/IT-Products/Co...

Re: UniROM 0.2 [new menu, nocash unlock, fastboot]

It's awesome and all, but I think one of the hurdles for entry for people wanting to have a go at coding for the PSX is the complexity of it all. 10-15 years ago it was likely easier 'cause you'd have a parallel port or ISA slot for the comms card, but now I see a lot of people asking questions the...
