Re: SCPH-102 laser noise
Hi Shadow!
Sorry for the late response. Mmh, yeah. I think was a problem with a laser coil and i change the OPU with an AEM. But the same result. Maybe is some IC calibrate wrong the FOCUS. There is no way to eliminate this noise?
Thank you ^^!

The WD-40 is amazing, but maybe there must be a better oil ...!Shadow wrote: Ah, if you're using it on the motor stator/armature then that is okay

Re: Lubrication
I believe WD-40 will destroy the ABS. You'd want to use a lighter oil like sewing machine oil in that case. You can use a lighter oil, but should be not conductive. It's a very important thing ^^ Well, i'm using the WD-40 only for the motor and it works pretty awesome :) (no motor gripping anymore)...

Re: Lubrication
Never use oil for the laser mecha
Use lithium grease like Shadow said or Tamiya grease (amazing grease!!!)
Use WD-40 for the mabuchi motor and sled motor, after that, remove the excess with some napkin ^^!
That's it, it's miraculous treatment and your PS will thank you from the bottom of his heart!

Re: Simple Upgrade
You can use a spindle drive from a notebook (be carefull, should be in metal)
And for the RF-300a (motor spindle), with a WD-40 the drive should be more fast, also eliminate the motor gripping problem.

I think you can't because the bios is pratically inaccessible XD.
Maybe you can on emulator but not in the real console ^^

Yeaaah Shadow, i did it!!!
I just check the FS2KM (high speed MITSUBISHI MOSFET) beacause was in short and change the main capacitor for safety (400V 47uf). It works perfectly !
But on the pinout i have 7,0vdc and not 7,5vdc...the console working fine but i'm don't know if it's normal XD!
