Re: or download the FLASH-CD program
IE: krHACKen's X-Flash v1.2 BETA 3 - Overburn Mod ISO. Just FYI : there will be no new overburn mod release as standalone disc. I've merged it to "Cheat Engine Compilation" about two years ago, since it was difficult for me to maintain the two separated things at the same time. Live link ...

Re: NO$CASH Kernel Clone - New Expansion ROM Version
Mine has a 29EE020. http://aybabtu.chez.com/PS1/SHIT1/PSEQ_1.JPG X-Flash bricked it, and the X-Flash mod was unable to restore its original rom. Fortunately noCash's flasher rescued it and it now has its original firmware back :) . Can't remember how the EEPROM is mapped though. Thanks nocash :dance !

Re: UniROM V6 - New stuff and things.
Something weird that was reported to me recently : UniROM V6 with Caetla, flashed in an Xplorer V1 cartridge. When connected to a SCPH-1002 console, Caetla runs, but UniROM does not. It goes to the normal PS OSD instead. This very same reflashed cartridge works fine in a SCPH-5502. I mean, UniROM do...

Re: Super GameBoy like for PS1 !
ok I took some time today to write a little program to dump the ROM, pack it and write it onto 2 memory card so I could retrieve the data on my computer using my USB PS1 Memory card reader tool. I verified the integrity of the ROM using SHA1 algorithm computed directly on the PSX Here is the file: ...

Re: how to use ECMEM.COM convert
I think that the screen at the top is an executable made by the members what I pick no? Nope. Like we said, it's a sample program from SCEI. See \psyq\psx\sample\memcard\CARD to find the source code and precompiled CPE and EXE. I want to know something or have you learned all this stuff? From readi...

Re: how to use ECMEM.COM convert
Watch my screenshot. See offset 0000h. It starts with "SC". To do the same with your file, you must select (highlight) the header from 0000h to 0035h (including 0035h), press Del (Suppr), confirm (twice I think), and save the modified file. edit : you need to delete this : http://aybabtu.c...

Re: how to use ECMEM.COM convert
Remove the header manually then, with a hexadecimal editor. Your file should start with "SC", like in this pic : http://aybabtu.chez.com/RANDOMPIX/20423.JPG Also, since your save name is EXEC00002, rename MCLAUNCH.M00 to E00-EXEC00002 before you copy it to the memory card. Mixing PS1 and P...

Umm, how to force flash? :D http://www.psxdev.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=13696#p13696 work around B. Be aware that if it bricks, your expansion card will be unrecoverable without a programmer. Oh, and you can also try A. It's best to have another working cartridge tho. Like an Xplorer/Xploder/Xtermi...

Re: how to use ECMEM.COM convert
6 blocks = 48 KB. Your file is ~41 KB, so it's surely 5 blocks, not 6. You forgot to get rid of the mcs header, and uLE rounded the save size to 6 blocks. Manually remove the mcs header (which ends at the "SC" file identifier), or convert MCLAUNCH.M00 to a RAW single save with some tool......

Re: UniRom
The command which gets the chip IDs has failed, and bytes from the ROM were returned instead. http://aybabtu.chez.com/RANDOMPIX/4503453.JPG Buy another expansion cartridge, or force-flash at your own risk. Also, if the PCB is "2M" labeled and you want to mod it (to use your own DIP32 chips...

Re: UniROM V6 - New stuff and things.
I believe that the command which retrieves the chip ID fails and "01 20" isn't the actual ID but some data from the ROM. Hopefully the chip doesn't require 12v to page-write... Workarounds : A - Build an installer EXE (EXPAND.EXE) from the .rom file, using no$psx v2.0. [...] Got it working...

Re: or download the FLASH-CD program
It is a normal X-Flash disc. The console is equipped with either a "bricked" DIY movie card PCB, a blank MultiChip , or a homemade parallel port. The reprogrammable flash chip holds a Caetla hack. The region free/CDR business is done by a regular PIC modchip. EDIT : http://www.psxdev.net/f...

Re: how to use ECMEM.COM convert
Yup. At least the two following fuses are toasted : http://fusrodah.chez.com/57324781.jpg 15 is on the CTR 3.3V line, 20 is on one of the two +8V lines. PU-22 board btw. Can't check the other fuses, since I have no proper continuity tester here. I'll know if the rumble motors and unofficial memcards...

"DVS pirates have compiled the EXE from a reworked caetla 0.33 src." is that working and released? can diz do cheating ? hehe. This actually. Yup, the cheat engine works. At least for the few codes I tried. Technically, this thing eats more main-RAM than Caetla. Is it OK to post a disc im...

Re: problem converting .rom to .exe
There's no generic PIO ROM to PS-X executable converter for an obvious reason : most PIO ROM programs use the PIO memory area as true working RAM/ROM. Caetla 0.3x, for example, has 60+ APIs in the PIO expansion memory (part of its ROM), which are functions that are used for many purposes (including ...
