So in theory my posts above, about using RGB through a 15-pin D-Sub VGA connector plug should work fine, only my TV wouldn't take RGB.

Ok, i found a diagram for the Playstation 2/3 RGB out to D-SUB (VGA?) on pinouts.ru - but I don't think it's right for PS1!
